Lee Note 97 Thoughts about Brigadiers August 28, 2001
From Larry Shelton:
Did I hear correctly, that they are no more? Such a terrible thing to see such a tradition go away. And we wonder why we are losing our kids.
This is the thing that builds spirits and lasting friendships. I hope I have heard wrong. It is, I think, one of the reasons we have such a great group in our class. We had good times together, worthwhile times, which are worth remembering.
Without that, why would one need to get in touch with the world? What a shame to waste some of the joys that are given us, to share with our friends what they meant to us in those times when it really "counted" to be a friend.
On another topic, I have moved to Peru for a while for the business. So I have changed my email address. This is the new one. I look forward to continuing to read the news of my high school friends, daily.

From Bob Roush
Kay, this is amazing; just shows the power of lifelong allegiance to those things we deem meaningful, especially those things that happened to us in our youth – such as your sorority and my fraternity, which, by the way, I still have one more year to serve at president of Delta Tau Delta, and count it as one of the highpoints of my life.
