Lee Note 58 Dallas Dinner Comments June 15, 2001
Well, for those of you that missed the dinner in Dallas, words cannot express what you missed. It was truly a Kodak moment...well, maybe a "senior" moment... Only kidding. It was just terrific to see every one there
Virgil and I kept repeating, "It just doesn't seem like 40 years." The conversation was superb. You know, it's been said, you can't go home again... But when you're a member of the Class of 1960 from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas, you can get pretty darn close. :-)
On my drive back to the farm last night, or I should say early this morning, I was struck with the thoughts; how lucky we were to have lived and gone to high school when we did and where we did, but more than that, how even luckier we are to have such good friends and memories across time to cherish.

Gosh, enough sentimentality. I told Kay last night about a great book that I recently read, then on the way home thought of another, and thought I would share the titles with all of you. They're all in soft cover.

I hope that this note finds each of you well and I hope that each of you has a terrific day!
Go Ganders!!!Best Regards,

P.S. A special, special "Thanks" Kay for all the wonderful things that you do on behalf of the class and for the class. You are quite "special."
