I have wanted to ask if anyone has a 45-rpm record of the southern Belles singing the alma mater and song of my land? Cleaning out a catch all cabinet I found about 20 or so 45 rpm records. Among them was this one I had forgotten about.

Thing is to hear it I now have to find someone who has a record player that will take a 45 rpm. I used to baby-sit a couple in Lakewood and I would take records in exchange sometimes. Don't remember where he got them.

Another memory I have is marching on the field with the sophomore band. Also I remember the junior-senior bands combined in our southern uniforms. Made you think the south was going to war. I remember playing Dull Razor and all of us trombone players trying not to swing into each other. I think the player that played the solo was named Larry. He was great.

I really hated it when I heard the "pink prison" burned.
