Lee Note 3 Brad Cash March 23, 2001
I never attended any of the reunions and have kept touch with only a few classmates over the years. I felt especially bad about missing last year’s 40th. I'm living in El Paso now and there really was no excuse for me not making the 'extra effort' to go. Quite a few folks told me it was a great evening. I've vowed not to miss the next one.
To give you a bit of an up-date on me: I graduated from UT / Austin in 1966 and got into the construction industry. I moved several times (Kansas / Pennsylvania / Washington / California / Alaska). I settled in Olympia and Seattle, Washington for most of 30 years with only a brief stint in El Paso around 1975.
I married an Alabama lady and have 3 wonderful kids (Bradly, Karen, Suzanne) and now 3 grandkids (Holden, Phoebee, Brittany). I was divorced in 1990 and moved to El Paso a year and a half ago. I really love the sunny hot days and I do not miss the Seattle rain / traffic / hi-costs at all. I've only gained 15 pounds since high school and lost most of my hair, otherwise I'm just the same-old-me.
About Bradly’s name, officially Bradly’s name is Brad Lee Cash, Jr. Everyone else in the family spells it 'Bradley'. I spell it 'Bradly'. He is a morning-show DJ on a rock-n-roll radio station in Bellingham, Washington (about 60 miles north of Seattle). I could never get him into the construction business. About the only guys I've kept-up with are Bobby Paulson, Melvin Johnson, and Paige Stasney.
My younger brother (Gary) stayed in Texas while I was gone all those years and occasionally he would pass along a tid-bit on somebody he had heard about. News was pretty skimpy so I've got a hell of a lot of catching-up to do. Now that you have passed along so many e-addresses to me I'll start getting in touch with a few of the names I remember. Thanks, Kay.
