Lee Note 13 Larry Crain April 3, 2001
Dear Kay,
I cannot believe it's been over 40 years since we graduated from Lee. Like many of us, I've had an interesting life. I married Eyleen Rawe (class of 1961) in December of 1961. We recently celebrated our 39th anniversary and the jury is still out on the renewal of our 40th.
We have three grown children: daughter Blake (36), son Larry Scott (34), and our accident son Colby (26). Blake has two children and Colby has a new 7 month old daughter. Larry Scott recently got engaged and will marry in May, 2002.
Eyleen and I really enjoy spoiling our grandchildren. In 1967, we left Baytown and moved to Rochester, New York; what a change. We were involved in the "Exodus Rochester" movement with the Church of Christ. This was a maturing process for our family and helped us learn a lot about life.
I was working, raising a family, and going to night school. After several years of night school, I received my BBA twelve years after graduating from Lee. Texas Instruments moved us to Dallas and I have been involved in sales most of my life.
For the past 12 years I have owned my own oil and gas company and recently started a gas pipeline company. My dad passed away a couple of years ago and my mom still lives in Baytown in our same house. She's 87.
Kay, I really appreciate your hard work and it's great hearing about everyone.
Thanks, Larry Crain
